Badri was born in a village close to Langtang Himalaya region of Nepal. From a very young age he was very passionate about the beauties and secrets that could be found within the Himalayas. This together with his love for Hospitality encouraged him to come into the tourism industry. He has been leading trips to Mount Kailash Tibet since 1999 and has also led trips to some of the most beautiful and adventurous parts of the Himalayan region of Nepal(i.e. Everest and Annapurna Regions),China (Tibet) and Bhutan.
Having met people from different countries and also travelled himself to more than 40 countries, he felt that the service provided by trekking companies in Nepal could be further improved to meet international standard. Therefore went to Singapore and London to study Tourism & Hospitality. Having completed a degree in Hotel & Hospitality Management, he established Earthbound Expeditions in the UK, prior to that he was Regional Manager for Europe and UK for Earthbound Expeditions (P) Ltd Nepal and have worked with one of the world leading hotel chain Hilton and Holiday Inn in the UK.
